Who we are
Vessel Logistics Group LLC ("Vessel", "we", "us") is a motor carrier based at 2150 Bernice Road, Suite 2, Lansing, IL 60438 (USDOT 4359277, MC 1705570). This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us in the driver application form:
- Full name, phone number and email address
- Whether you are applying as a company driver or an owner operator
- Your license type (Non-CDL, CDL-B or CDL-A) and years of driving experience
- City and state, and your preferred time for a call
- For owner operators: truck type, truck year and whether you have your own MC authority
- Your answer to the contact consent checkbox and the time you submitted the form
This form is a first step so our recruiting team can contact you. It is not the full driver employment application; any further hiring paperwork is handled with you directly.
If you call or email us, we also receive whatever you share in that conversation.
How we use it
We use this information to review your application, contact you about driving opportunities with Vessel and keep a record of our conversation with you. When you submit the form, we send a confirmation to the email address you gave us. We do not use your application for unrelated marketing.
Calls, texts and email
By submitting the application and checking the consent box, you agree that Vessel may contact you by phone, text message or email about driving opportunities. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of employment. You can ask us to stop at any time by calling +1 708 500 0020 or writing to info@vessellogisticsllc.com.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website and our recruiting, and when the law requires it. These providers process the information on our behalf:
- Vercel hosts this website and receives the form when you submit it.
- Resend delivers the application to our team by email and sends your confirmation email.
- Cloudflare Turnstile may be used on the form to tell real visitors from automated spam. It receives technical information about your browser and your IP address.
- Google provides the website analytics described below.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website. It uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you view, the links and buttons you use (for example a phone number, an email address or an Apply button), the kind of device and browser you have, and your approximate location. We look at this information in aggregated reports and do not use it to identify individual visitors. We do not send the contents of your application to Google Analytics; we only record that an application was submitted, with the driver type, license type and experience range selected.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings. Google explains how it handles this data in its Privacy Policy.
We do not use advertising cookies.
Other third parties
The coverage map loads a code library from a content delivery network (jsDelivr), which receives your IP address in order to deliver the file. Links to other websites, such as Instagram or the FMCSA website, are covered by the privacy policies of those sites.
How long we keep it
We keep application information for as long as it is needed for recruiting and for any period required by law, then delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Write to info@vessellogisticsllc.com and we will respond.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
